We are ideally situated to explore all the rich Highland experience; we are just 25 minutes drive from Fort William.
Tulloch is located in the Braes o’ Lochaber and the famous Spean Valley ; between Spean Bridge and Dalwhinnie(famous for the Dalwhinnie Whisky Distillery), set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are fortunate to be situated in the heart of the Highlands, close to many key attractions such as:
Urquhart Castle, Loch Ness and the amazing Parallel Roads - a quirk of nature formed during the Ice Age. Glenfinnan, where Bonnie Prince Charlie first raised the Jacobite standard and rallied his clansmen for battle and with its stunning views of Loch Shiel. Many more lochs, valleys, castles such as Eilean Donan Castle - reputed to be the most romantic castle in the UK - all waiting for you to explore all year round.
Just 20 minutes west is Fort William. where you can board the romantic Jacobite Steam Train, which has been made famous in the recent Harry Potter film taking the Hogwarts students to school and back. The so-called Rail to the Isles passes through spectacular rugged scenery, past sea inlets and lochs and onto the fishing town of Mallaig, where you can catch a ferry to the famous Isle of Skye, Eigg, Rum or Canna. This is a journey that you can complete in a day, returning by a different route to make it a complete experience that should not be missed.
The area is renowned for hill walking and mountaineering.
